American Museum of Natural History

Since October, I've been taking classes at the Museum of Natural History with their after-school program. I took a beginner course called "What Is DNA?".* Although I have been taking AP Biology classes at MIT in Boston by taking a bus from Chinatown every few Sundays, I took this beginner genetics course not because I was losing my memory, but because the museum has an internship program. There are the Saltz Internship and the Research Internship programs. The Saltz program is mainly for teenagers that want to talk to the public about exhibits, etc. The Research Internship program allows students to record data, do lab work etc. for either Anthropology, Enivornmental Biology, or Genetics. So now I am taking a Proteins class in genetics.

The problem though, is that my "insane" Astronomy teacher at AMNH rescheduled the class which is usually on Thursdays, for a Wednesday. He also rescheduled a day before Wednesday. Pissed off, I decided to go to Proteins (which also was on Wednesday) because I didn't want to go to a class that was barely rescheduled. The sad thing though, is that I love Astronomy and I have only just realized how that Astronomers literally do have their heads in the clouds. :\.
